Longtime Nine-Oh fans will remember that Silver (Jessica Stroup) has struggled to manage her bipolar disorder, and though she’s kept it in check with meds and therapy for a while now, her mental illness is about to get much harder for her to manage.
Dixon, will play a part as his ex-girlfriend begins to spiral backward. He was by her side when she was first diagnosed, and he was directly impacted by her manic behavior then, so it makes sense that he’d be involved this time around, too.
“You will see a little bit more Dixon/Silver interaction coming up,” he tells us. “This is something they’ve been through. You’ll definitely see it come up, with Dixon being the ‘expert’ on the situation.” “It’s something that they both have been through. … You see them play off each other again.
Dixon may be a bit of a bright spot as things grow darker for Silver. Tristan says, “I can definitely say that for the next couple of episodes you get to see how true and how good Dixon really is as a person. Wholeheartedly, he’s a good guy. He’s looking out for his friends and always trying to make things right.”
Unfortunately for the “Sixon” fans, however, there’s no hookup on the horizon. “Right now I think that she’s very, very solid with Navid,” Tristan says, but he’s not ruling out a Dixon/Silver reunion in the future. “You never know. History never dies, so you really never know.”
In the meantime, Dixon is going through a bit of a dry spell when it comes to romance. “My story lines are going in a different direction,” Tristan says. “Let’s just pray for more love interests next season."
